About JSP
Founded in 2014 by actor Pawan Kalyan, the younger brother of Telugu film star and politician Chiranjeevi. Contested independently in 2014 and 2019 without winning power, then allied with the TDP and BJP for the 2024 Andhra Pradesh election; the alliance won, and Pawan Kalyan became Deputy Chief Minister.
