About NDPP
Founded in 2017 by Neiphiu Rio, who had already served three terms as Nagaland's Chief Minister (2003–2014) under the Naga People's Front before forming his own party. Under NDPP, Rio was sworn in as CM again in 2018 and re-elected in 2023, leading NDPP–BJP coalition governments continuously since.
