About SKM
Founded on 4 February 2013 by Prem Singh Tamang, a former SDF leader, as a breakaway from the Sikkim Democratic Front. Ended SDF's 24-year rule in the 2019 election and has governed Sikkim continuously since, with Tamang re-elected in 2024.
